STRETCHING SUNDAY🧘🏽‍♀️

Earlier this week, we discussed the importance of hip hinging to spare your spine from pain. In order to hinge correctly, it is essential we stretch the hamstrings and glutes.

Here are 3 quick go-to stretches that can help! No equipment is needed, and can be done in under 5 minutes.

  1. Supine Hamstring Stretch

  2. Supine Pigeon

  3. Spinal Twist

Hold each stretch for 30 seconds, or 3-5 deep breaths. Be sure to repeat the stretches for both sides, and remember to ALWAYS work within YOUR pain-free range.
