STRETCHING SUNDAY! 🧘🏽‍♀️

Balasana, more commonly known as Child’s Pose, is a restful pose that not only stretches the Latissimus dorsi (the broadest muscle of the back), but gently stretches your lower back, hips, thighs, knees, and ankles as well. This yoga staple can also help relax your spine, shoulders, and neck while promoting blood circulation to the head.

Follow along with this quick video to learn this incredibly beneficial stretch.

Rest in Child’s Pose anywhere from 30 seconds to a few minutes. Be sure to breathe deeply and meet your body where it is.
